Oscars 2013 Ratings Up From Last Year - 40.3 Million Viewers!

The ratings are in for the 2013 Academy Awards, which were held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 24) in Hollywood.

The Seth MacFarlane hosted ceremony was viewed by 40.3 million people throughout the night and it earned a 13.0 rating in the 18-49 demo. That means 13 percent of all television-equipped households were tuned in to the show!

Last year’s ceremony was viewed by 39.3 million people and it scored an 11.7 demo rating.
