Gabrielle Union: 'Being Mary Jane' Scores Huge Premiere!

Gabrielle Union‘s new series Being Mary Jane is off to a great start after scoring huge ratings for the special airing of its pilot episode!

The new BET series debuted the episode on Tuesday (July 2) following the season premiere of The Game and garnered 4 million viewers and a 2.0 rating, which was behind only America’s Got Talent for the evening in the coveted demo. Those numbers are huge for a cable network!

Being Mary Jane‘s first season doesn’t begin until January 2014 so make sure to catch up before then if you missed it.
