Xavier Zachariah Wade: Dwyane Wade's New Son's Name!

The name of Dwyane Wade‘s child he fathered while on a break with fiancee Gabrielle Union has been revealed to be little boy Xavier Zachariah Wade.

The 31-year-old basketball star’s son was born on November 10, 2013 to mother Aja Metoyer, and while she did not claim him as the father on the birth certificate, the child has his last name, according to TMZ.

“I had a time, a part in our break, in our pain and our hurt, a blessing came out of it in my life, having a son that was born healthy. So I’m moving on,” Dwyane said in a statement about the child, who was conceived while on a break from Gabrielle before their engagement. “I’m in the public eye, so obviously that’s a part of it. It comes with the territory.”
