Bob Hoskins Dead at 71 - 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' Actor Dies From Pneumonia

Actor Bob Hoskins has passed away at the age of 71 from pneumonia, the BBC reports.

“We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Bob,” the actor’s wife Linda and children Alex, Sarah, Rosa and Jack said in a statement. “Bob died peacefully at hospital last night surrounded by family, following a bout of pneumonia. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time and thank you for your messages of love and support.”

Some of Bob’s famous movies include Brazil (1985), Mona Lisa (1986), Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (1988), Mermaids (1990) and Super Mario Bros (1993). He retired from acting in 2012 after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
