Gugu Mbatha-Raw & Sam Reid Bring 'Belle' to Met Ball 2014

Gugu Mbatha-Raw looks lovely in a black and white dress while hitting the red carpet at the 2014 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 5) in New York City.

The 30-year-old actress was joined at the event by her Belle co-star Sam Reid.

“For me, I’ve never been before so it’s a really exciting opportunity to kind of explore the whole fashion world,” Gugu recently told E! News about attending the ball. “I am having a dress made for me and I’ve never had a couture dress made to measure�”so it’s sort of like a Cinderella fantasy coming true! With Belle coming out its just such great timing to celebrate, so I am just really excited to see everybody in their outfits and take in all the scenes.”

FYI: Gugu is wearing a Lanvin black & white abstract flower silk jacquard tea-length strapless dress, matching pumps with ankle strap, and black python oval clutch.
