Meryl Streep & Jeff Bridges Are Looming in Official 'Giver' Poster!

Meryl Streep and Jeff Daniels loom in the background in this newly released The Giver poster, which debuted on the Huffington Post!

Stars Odeya Rush and Brenton Thwaites are also featured on the poster, which has a tagline that reads “Search For Truth Find Freedom.”

“I don’t think anyone realized quite how protective fans of the book might be to that concept of restricted perception,” director Phillip Noyce told HuffPo about the film. “I was amused by all the controversy in a way because I knew that wasn’t how the film was shot or how it would be released.”

Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Swift, Katie Holmes, Cameron Monaghan and many more star in the flick, in theaters on August 15.
