Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Playing Supervillain Black Adam in DC's 'Shazam' Superhero Film!

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has just announced that he’s been cast as the villain Black Adam in DC Comics and New Line’s upcoming superhero flick Shazam!

“”Kneel at his feet or get crushed by his boot.” My honor to become.. #BlackAdam #TheAntiHero #DCComics” the 42-year-old actor tweeted to his fans, along with a pic of the villain. Too cool!

Black Adam, a supervillain, is the main adversary to the title character Shazam. DC‘s website describes Black Adam as “a champion turned villain whose quest for dominance over all magic drives him to destroy anything that stands in his path.”
