Michael Strahan Confirms Role in ‘Magic Mike XXL’! (Video)

Michael Strahan dropped some major news this morning on Live! with Kelly & Michael – he is confirmed for a role in the upcoming movie Magic Mike XXL!

The 42-year-old television personality’s appearance in the movie has been a running joke on the talk show over the last couple years after star Channing Tatum repeatedly has offered the part to him.

“Every time Channing would come here, he would go ‘Are you ready?’ Even when we were going on camera and I would say, ‘I stay ready. When you stay ready you don’t have to get ready,” Michael joked.

Michael also said that the film’s wardrobe guy gave him a call, though he questioned “Why did he even call me about wardrobe because apparently, there ain’t nothing to be worn. …It’s kind of a thong thing.”
