Ian Somerhalder checks messages on his phone while arriving on a flight at LAX Airport on Tuesday (October 7) in Los Angeles.

The 35-year-old actor was joined a few paces ahead by his girlfriend Nikki Reed, who held onto her pet pooch Ira.

Ian and Nikki were last spotted sharing laughs while working out together a few weeks ago.
