Jai Courtney Wanted To Punch ‘Divergent’ Co-Star Miles Teller When They First Met

Miles Teller holds the door open for girlfriend Keleigh Sperry while out for dinner at Craig’s Restaurant in West Hollywood, Calif., on Friday night (October 17).

The 27-year-old Whiplash actor was under fire recently for comments he made about his role in Divergent.

Co-star Jai Courtney chatted with Elle about what Miles said and his reaction to it.

“That’s brilliant. Listen, I can relate to what he’s saying. I also know Miles very well. He’s a very good friend of mine. He’s an interesting brand, you know?” Jai shared.

He added, “It’s like, I wanted to legitimately punch him for a couple of weeks when I first met him. He’s not there to make sure you understand his brand of comedy. It’s like you either get it or you don’t. And if you don’t, you think he’s a dick. And he’s not! At all.”
