‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Tampon Scene Won’t Appear in Movie

The 25-year-old actress’ director on Fifty Shades of Grey, Sam Taylor-Johnson, recently confirmed that the infamous scene in which Christian removes Ana’s tampon so they can have sex will not be included in the film.

“It was never even discussed,” Sam told Variety. “On the early draft, there was a sense there was way too much sex. The story, of course, is of equal importance. We tried to balance the narrative correctly, so one doesn’t feel like it’s drowning the other.”
