Dominos 'Fifty Shades of Grey'-Esque Ad In the Spotlight For It's S&M Content

This Dominos ad for their Sriracha pizza is raising eyebrows for its S&M style content.

“You’re going to suffer and enjoy every moment,” the ad proclaims, showing a tied up tongue with a whip, ball gag, and sexy police hat.

“It’s real,” company spokesman Tim McIntyre told People about the ad. “The ad was created and pitched by an agency to the independent franchise in Israel. It never ‘officially’ appeared anywhere, because it was ill-advised, unfunny and not brand-appropriate. In a word, it was stupid.”

Tim adds that “[It's] being presented as something that actually ran in Israeli media. It did not.”

“When I first saw it myself, I thought it was a parody, just in time for the premiere of Fifty Shades of Grey,” Tim concluded. “I’m still shaking my head.”
