Former NFL Star Warren Sapp Arrested For Soliciting Prostitute Following Super Bowl 2015

Retired NFL player Warren Sapp has been arrested for soliciting a prostitute and for assault, according to People.

The 42-year-old former football player was taken into custody at a hotel in downtown Phoenix on Monday (February 2) after being involved in an altercation with two women, who suffered minor injuries.

Warren, who was in town covering the 2015 Super Bowl, was working as an analyst on NFL Total Access and NFL GameDay Morning, but his contract has been terminated since the arrest.

“Warren Sapp‘s contract has been terminated and he no longer works for NFL Network,” Alex Riethmiller, spokesman for the NFL Network, said in a statement.
