Super Bowl 2015 Was the Most Watched Telecast of All Time

The official ratings are in and Super Bowl XLIX has been deemed the most watched telecast in television history!

The big game, which was played by the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks, was viewed by 114.4 million viewers, which is up from last year’s record of 112.2 million.

The post-game episode of The Blacklist also did great numbers, bringing in an average 26.5 million viewers to become the top broadcast entertainment telecast since last year’s Oscars!

The special Tonight Show episode on Sunday night also had the distinction of being the most-watched post-Super Bowl late-night talk show in people meter history.

It sure was a big night for NBC!
