'Groundhog Day' Broadway Musical Opens in 2017

It has just been announced that there will be a Broadway musical adaptation for the classic 1993 comedy Groundhog Day!

The musical would premiere on Broadway on January 23, 2017, right before the official opening on March 9.

Though we have a premiere date, the musical is still searching for a theater, where it will play day in and day out. Stay tuned for more details!

In case you don’t remember, Groundhog Day centered on “a television weatherman (Bill Murray) who awakens every day to the same scenario: he has been assigned to cover Groundhog Day in Punxsutawney, Pa.”
