Harvey Weinstein Not Being Charged in Groping Incident

Movie producer Harvey Weinstein will not have charges filed against him for allegedly groping a 22-year-old woman, according to Deadline.

“This case was taken seriously from the outset, with a thorough investigation conducted by our sex crimes unit,” a member of Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr‘s team said in a statement. “After analyzing the available evidence, including multiple interviews with both parties, the criminal charge is not supported.”

A spokesman for Harvey also spoke out, saying: “We are pleased this episode is behind us.”
