Tilda Swinton In Talks for Marvel's 'Doctor Strange'!

Tilda Swinton is in talks to join Marvel’s upcoming movie Doctor Strange!

The 54-year-old actress would be starring as the Tibetan mystic known as the Ancient One, “who is training pupils to be the next sorcerer supreme,” THR reports. The Ancient One acts as Dr. Strange’s mentor. Dr. Strange is set to be played by Benedict Cumberbatch.

In the comics, the character was originally a male. Marvel was reportedly looking for a male before deciding on a female.

Doctor Strange will hit theaters on November 4, 2016. It will begin shooting in the UK this coming November.

Scott Derrickson will direct the film, and no other casting has been announced.
