Ezra Miller Joins 'Harry Potter' Spinoff 'Fantastic Beasts'

It looks like Ezra Miller will star in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them!

According to Variety, the 22-year-old actor is in talks to star as Kredan in the highly-anticipated Harry Potter spin-off by J.K. Rowling.

Sources tell the outlet that Ezra was always the favorite for the role, though the deal has yet to close.

“Set in New York roughly seven decades before Harry Potter‘s saga starts, Fantastic Beasts is based on the Hogwarts textbook of the same name and follows the adventures of its author, Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne).”
