Taylor Swift Donates $50,000 to 11-Year-Old Fan With Cancer

Taylor Swift is one generous woman.

The 25-year-old entertainer just donated $50,000 to a young fan battling Leukemia.

“Swiftie” Naomi Oakes was sadly diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia in late June, and doctors told her treatment would keep her bed-ridden for up to nine months – meaning she would miss Taylor‘s concert.

Her uncle created a GoFundMe page to help raise money for her medical expenses. The family also posted a video to help nab Taylor‘s attention in hopes she may post an Instagram using the #TeamNaomi hashtag.

Taylor went one step further and donated $50,000 through the page, writing, “To the beautiful and brave Naomi, I’m sorry you have to miss it, but there will always be more concerts. Let’s focus on getting you feeling better. I’m sending the biggest hugs to you and your family.”
