Taylor Swift Apologizes to Nicki Minaj: 'I Thought I Was Being Called Out'

UPDATE: Nicki has accepted Taylor’s apology…and had something to say to Katy Perry as well.

Taylor Swift has taken to Twitter to publicly apologize to Nicki Minaj after their back and forth over the MTV VMAs tweets.

“I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I’m sorry, Nicki. @NICKIMINAJ” the 25-year-old entertainer wrote just moments ago to Nicki.

It all started when Nicki went off on Twitter about her VMA nominations, and Taylor thought one of Nicki‘s tweets was directed towards her. Taylor wrote back to Nicki and called her out.
