Eva Longoria Slams Report that She Lied About Poor Eyesight

Eva Longoria flashes a smile while leaving the Ken Paves Salon after getting her hair done on Monday (July 27) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

That same day, the 40-year-old former Desperate Housewives actress took to her Twitter account to slam a journalist for falsely claiming that she was only wearing eyeglasses to promote an endorsement deal.

“If you had done your journalistic duty (it’s actually not that hard, a more thorough google job, or one phone call to my camp and they could have provided you with the documentation) you would see that I have been wearing READING glasses since May 3 2013,” Eva started off her letter. She then describes the day she found out she needed to wear glasses and how she bought five pairs.

“So next time you want to write an article calling someone ‘shameful’ why don’t you do your research because that is your responsibility as a ‘journalist’ and the Sydney Morning Herald should hold you to that ‘high’ standard even though you are just the Lifestyle journalist. It sounds like you need some glasses yourself,” she added.
