Caitlyn Jenner Talks 'Vanity Fair' Halloween Costume Parodies, Her Deadly Car Accident in New Interview (Video)

Caitlyn Jenner is taking part in a two-part interview with the Today show’s Matt Lauer, which just aired on Wednesday (September 9).

During the interview, the 65-year-old reality star discussed the Halloween costume modeled after her Vanity Fair debut, as well as her deadly car crash that took place earlier in the year.

“When you hear that there are companies out there that want to do Caitlyn Jenner costumes for Halloween from the Vanity Fair cover, are you in on the joke or do you think it’s offensive?” Matt asked.

“I’m in on the joke. I don’t think it’s offensive at all,” Caitlyn answered. “I know the community does and they’ve gotten a lot of criticism for doing it. I think it’s great.”

When asked about the car accident, Caitlyn answered, “A tragedy like this, you’ll never get over it. You just learn to live with it the best you possibly can.”

She also talked about the possibility of going to jail. “That is the worst case scenario. I don’t know. We’ll see. The Men’s County Jail. It is an enormous problem that they would put trans-women in Men’s County Jail,” she added.
