‘Black Mirror’ to Get 12 New Episodes on Netflix

The acclaimed British series Black Mirror is getting 12 episodes on Netflix!

The sci-fi anthology series is in the vein of The Twilight Zone and reflects on the darker side of technology and human nature. Six episodes are currently streaming on Netflix and there’s also a Christmas special starring Jon Hamm that has yet to be released in the states.

Series creator Charlie Brooker will serve as showrunner on the new episodes alongside executive producer Annabel Jones.

“It’s all very exciting — a whole new bunch of Black Mirror episodes on the most fitting platform imaginable. Netflix connects us with a global audience so that we can create bigger, stranger, more international and diverse stories than before, whilst maintaining that Black Mirror feel. I just hope none of these new story ideas come true,” Charlie said in a statement.
