Jamie Foxx Supports Quentin Tarantino's Police Statement: 'Keep Speaking the Truth'
Jamie Foxx presents Will Smith with the Hollywood Actor Award for his work in Concussion at the 2015 Hollywood Film Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (November 1) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 47-year-old actor also presented to Quentin Tarantino‘s cast of The Hateful Eight, and while on stage, he publicly supported the director’s comments about the police.
“Keep telling the truth, keep speaking the truth and don’t worry about none of the haters,” Jamie said on stage. Quentin has been under fire for some comments he made at a protest, saying about cops, “[w]hen I see murders, I do not stand by … I have to call a murder a murder and I have to call the murderers the murderers.”
As a result of Quentin‘s comments, many police unions and supporters have vowed not to see his movies.
