Jennifer Aniston's Rep Confirms Viral Facebook Post is Fake

Jennifer Aniston‘s rep has confirmed that a Facebook post going viral about the actress allegedly helping a homeless teen mom is fake.

The story was posted on an unverified fan page for the actress and has been shared more than 50,000 times at the time this post was published.

The Facebook story was posted on a community fan page that is clearly unofficial. A photo of Jennifer posing with a young fan was accompanied by a first-person account about someone helping another in need. It was later revealed that the text from the story was ripped off a Reddit comment from five years ago.

“The story on the fan page has nothing to do with Jennifer and we are not at all sure where it came from,” Jen‘s rep told in a statement.
