Brie Larson on Filming 'Room': 'The Sense of Confinement Was Real'

Brie Larson, Bel Powley and Joanne Froggatt arrive at the 2016 BAFTA Los Angeles Awards Season Tea held at the Four Seasons Hotel on Saturday (January 9) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 26-year-old Room star, who is nominated for the Best Actress in a Leading Role BAFTA award, said the feeling of being trapped in a tiny room was real on the set of the movie.

“It was exhausting for the crew to shoot in so confined a space, and you could really feel the momentum in the room, of us all desperately wanting to get out,” she told the Telegraph. “That sense of confinement was real.”
