Jude Law Continues Filming 'The Young Pope' in Venice
Jude Law films a night scene for his series The Young Pope on Thursday (January 14) in St. Mark’s Square in Venice, Italy.
The 43-year-old actor told the Hollywood Reporter when filming began that his costume robes require him to stand for up to 14 hours straight.
“At the moment, it’s that I can only sit on a very uncomfortable sort of stool because they don’t want my papal robes to get creased,” Jude said. “So once I put the robes on, I usually spend the day, 14 hours, whatever, unable to sit. So I look great, but I’m very uncomfortable.”
The Young Pope will air later this year on Sky in the UK and in the US on HBO.
