Taylor Swift Did Not Approve Kanye West's Graphic Lyrics

Kanye West played his brand new album at his fashion show in New York City on Thursday (February 11) and a song that mentions Taylor Swift was heard for the first time.

On the song “Famous,” the 38-year-old rapper says “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, I made that b—h famous.”

TMZ reported that Kanye personally gave Taylor a phone call last month to tell her about the song and explain that it is a joke as he did not want to upset her, but the singer’s rep denies the report.

“Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message,” Taylor‘s rep told JustJared.com. “Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that bitch famous.’”
