Katie Holmes Captured Inspiration for ‘All We Had’ on Her iPhone

Katie Holmes dresses down while doing some grocery shopping at a local supermarket on Sunday afternoon (April 10) in Calabasas, Calif.

The 37-year-old actress recently made her directorial debut on the movie All We Had and the film will debut at the Tribeca Film Festival later this month.

Katie chatted with Variety about how she had worked out her storyboard and shot list before starting the 24 day shoot.

“One day my daughter and I were going to ballet class and the sun was shining a certain way and I was videoing on my iPhone because the shadows were great,” Katie said.
