Amber Heard Pleads Guilty in Dog Smuggling Case in Australia
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp arrived at the Southport Magistrates Court on Monday (April 18) in Gold Coast, Australia to face two counts of violating quarantine laws over her two dogs Pistol and Boo.
The 29-year-old actress plead guilty to providing a false passenger card for her dogs while in town to visit her husband on the set of his film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Amber admitted to illegally bringing the dogs into the country without following the strict 10 day quarantine.
If convicted, Amber could face 12 months jail and a $10,000 fine. The judge dropped two illegal importation charges from her case, the BBC reports.
