Demi Lovato Slams Haters Amid Nicki Minaj Feud Rumors: 'People Assume They Know Things'
Demi Lovato took to Twitter in the middle of the night to call out haters, and seemingly reference her supposed feud with Nicki Minaj after the 2016 Met Gala.
The 23-year-old entertainer began her series of tweets, “Sometimes there’s more to the story…Sometimes there’s more sh*t going on than you see. Maybe you DON’T know every aspect of my life so maybe you shouldn’t assume you know.”
“Maybe my midnight rants are a part of my bipolar disorder. Can’t change being crazy.. But you can press unfollow,” Demi continued.
Nicki threw some shade at Demi during the Gala, and Demi posted the photo on her Instagram with the caption, “This picture pretty much summed up my first and probably last met 😂😂😂 #cool #sofuckingawkward #notforme #sweatpants #forensicfiles #whatsgood p.s. some of y’all need to learn how to take a joke.. I’m obviously laughing at the fact that 1. I look incredibly awkward and 2. That the shade being thrown in this picture actually gives me life.”
Nicki also posted a photo of her, Demi, and designer Jeremy Scott, but didn’t tag Demi. She took to Snapchat to comment, saying, “When you aren’t mentioned in a post but didn’t do s–t to the person.”

Or maybe I rant online because people assume they know things and their entitlement to know makes me feel obligated to defend myself
