Christina Aguilera Reacts to Canceled Whitney Houston Hologram Duet

Christina Aguilera is speaking out after Whitney Houston‘s estate canceled her scheduled performance with a hologram of the late singer on The Voice‘s season 10 finale next week.

The 35 year old entertainer and The Voice coach released a statement expressing her sadness about the performance’s cancellation.

“I was honored that the Houston family asked me to perform a duet with the legendary Whitney Houston on The Voice. Sadly the technology could not meet up to the talent that Whitney possessed, but I do know in time the performance the fans and I have been hoping for will come to life,” Christina told GossipCop.

The Voice season 10 finale is set to air on May 24th.
