DWTS’ Ginger Zee Injured, May Not Perform in Finale

Ginger Zee reportedly injured her pelvis, and as a result, is having back spasms which may result in her not being able to perform in the Dancing with the Stars finals later tonight (May 23).

“I couldn’t even do two of my dress rehearsal runs today because, for one, I can’t even do some of the moves – I’m not allowed to,” Ginger said (via EW). “So Jenna stood in for me and I was able to kind of watch. I’m not there. I’m not even close to where I need to be to perform.

“Right now she can’t dance at 100 percent and Jenna Johnson is standing in for her during camera blocking,” a source added to publication of the 35-year-old GMA meteorologist. “She won’t know until the show tomorrow if she can do the dances.”

Ginger is currently dancing with DWTS pro Val Chmerkovskiy in the finals.
