Maria Sharapova Might Play in the Summer Olympics for Russia!

The 29-year-old tennis player, who was suspended from the International Tennis Federation after failing a drug test earlier this year, might get to show off her skills this summer at the Olympics!

Maria has been placed on the preliminary team for Russia and the Russian Tennis Federation hopes she will be cleared in time to play in Rio.

“If she isn’t able to compete, then the next-highest player on the ranking list will go into the team,” the federation’s president said (via USA Today).
