Shawn Mendes' 'Today' Concert Preempted for Dallas News - Watch Performance Videos

Shawn Mendes gets close to the microphone while performing on Today on Friday morning (July 8) in New York City.

The 17-year-old singer serenaded a packed crowd at Rockefeller Plaza with his new songs “Treat You Better” and “Ruin”, which are off of his upcoming album, Illuminate, as well as his hit song, “Stitches”. The concert ended up being preempted for coverage of the Dallas shootings, but the videos have been put up online for fans to watch.
