Lin-Manuel Miranda & Original ‘Hamilton’ Cast Say Goodbye Before Final Show
Hamilton‘s final show with its original cast is set to take place on Saturday night (July 9) and the performers have been taking to social media to say their goodbyes.
Creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda as well as Leslie Odom Jr. and Phillipa Soo will all be leaving the show after tonight’s performance and are commemorating it with some special messages.
Lin-Manuel shared a throwback Facebook status from five years ago as he was writing the show and quickly wrote “Okay. Let’s go. Love you,” before the final show began.
Phillipa also sent out a message saying, “Thanks to all for the love and support the past 2 yrs. I will cherish #Hamilton and everyone the RR Theatre. â¤ï¸ Til next time, folks!” and Leslie added, “The kindness and the love I’ve found here will stay with me all the days of life. One more. Let’s get it.”
