‘Jason Bourne’ Tops Weekend Box Office With $60 Million Debut!

Matt Damon‘s new film Jason Bourne debuted at No. 1 at the box office with a whopping $60 million gross!

According to THR, the fifth film in the action-packed franchise, beat out 2012’s The Bourne Legacy, starring Jeremy Renner, which opened to $38.1 million.

Coming in second was Star Trek Beyond, earning $24 million in its second weekend and passing the $100 million mark.

Taking the No. 3 spot was Bad Moms, starring Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Christina Applegate, which opened to a solid $23.4 million

Rounding out the top five were The Secret Life of Pets and Lights Out, which brought in $18.2 million and $10.8 million, respectively.

Meanwhile, Emma Roberts and Dave Franco‘s new flicl Nerve impressed with a projected $9 million weekend.
