Rihanna wears a matching green sweatshirt and sweatpants while stepping out of her hotel on Tuesday afternoon (August 23) in New York City.

The 28-year-old singer is in town to prepare for her performance at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, which are happening on Sunday night at Madison Square Garden.
