Winona Ryder Attends Tim Burton's Hand & Footprint Ceremony!

Winona Ryder speaks on stage at Tim Burton‘s hand and footprint ceremony held at TCL Chinese 6 Theatres on Thursday (September 8) in Hollywood.

The 44-year-old Stranger Things actress starred in the 58-year-old director’s film Beetlejuice in 1988, as well as his movie Edward Scissorhands in 1990.

At the ceremony, Winona thanked Tim for starting off her career.

“Tim understands the human heart in a way I have never seen certainly on screen,” Winona told ABC7. “He knows the pain of the misunderstood, of the odd and even of the mad. He celebrates them in a way that is both totally unique, so very, very tender, sometimes terrifying and very often hilarious.”

The two are slated to work together again on the upcoming Beetlejuice 2!
