RuPaul Wins First Emmy for Hosting 'Drag Race'
RuPaul wears a pink polka-dotted suit on the red carpet on the 2016 Creative Arts Emmy Awards held at the Microsoft Theatre on Sunday (September 11) in Los Angeles.
The 55-year-old television personality won his first award in the Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition category for hosting RuPaul’s Drag Race.
RuPaul beat out Project Runway‘s Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, who both are pictured on the carpet, as well as American Idol‘s Ryan Seacrest, Dancing With the Stars‘ Tom Bergeron, Hollywood Game Night‘s Jane Lynch, and Little Big Shots‘ Steve Harvey.
Other celebs in attendance at the event included Seth Green and his wife Clare Grant. He won Outstanding Short Form Animated Program for executive producing Robot Chicken.
Also stepping out at the event were Katharine McPhee, Ellen Page, Aisha Tyler, Lake Bell, and Bethany Mota.
