Kanye West Stops Show Early for 'Family Emergency'

Kanye West stopped his concert at the Meadows Festival a little bit early due to a “family emergency.”

The 39-year-old rapper was performing at the festival when he cut the performance short by 20 minutes on Sunday night (October 2) in New York City.

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry, there’s a family emergency. I have to stop the show,” Kanye is heard saying in a video recorded by a fan. Watch below!

The Meadows released this statement: “Due to an emergency, Kanye West had to end his performance early. Please get home safely.”

No word yet on what the emergency is, but we hope that everyone is okay!

UPDATE: The family emergency has been revealed. Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room that evening.
