Cate joined Andrew, 50, and her Australian co-stars Richard Roxburgh, Anna Bamford, Andrew Buchanan, David Downer, Eamon Farren, Martin Jacobs, Brandon McClelland, Jacqueline McKenzie, Marshall Napier, Susan Prior, Chris Ryan and Toby Schmitz at their photo call for The Present held at The New 42nd Street Studios on Thursday (December 8) in New York City.
“The audiences might come for the recognizable face on the poster, but in the end they experience the work. We’re really excited they get to discover all of these actors who are so fantastic,” Cate expressed at the event. “We felt like this [show] was the one – it’s an Australian voice, dealing with big, human, universal themes with an Australian creative team.”
The Present begins previews December 17 and opens January 8, 2017, for a limited run scheduled through March 19, 2017.
