Jennifer Lopez Reveals How Alex Rodriguez Asked Her Out

Jennifer Lopez holds hands with her beau Alex Rodriguez on their way to lunch on Monday (April 24) in New York City.

The 47-year-old superstar recently opened up about how they began dating during an appearance on The Ellen Show.

“It’s very simple. I was having lunch somewhere and I saw him. He passed by,” JLo said. “Afterward I went outside, but for some reason I felt like tapping him on the shoulder and said, ‘Hi.’”

“He [later] texted me, said, ‘Let’s go out to dinner,’ and I said, ‘OK,’” she continued. “We had a nice dinner…No. Mama don’t sleep over on the first date,” she added.

Ellen also asked if they want kids, but she replied, “Oh, my God. We’re just having a nice time right now.”
