Normani Kordei Gives Update on Twisted Ankle Ahead of ‘DWTS’ Finale
Normani Kordei is giving an update on her twisted ankle ahead of tonight’s Dancing with the Stars finale.
“My ankle is actually fine. It looked really bad. I saw the video back, but luckily I can push through anything and I’m dancing on it,” Normani told ET about dancing on part one of the finale.
Val Chmerkovskiy, her dance partner, also took some blame for the injury. “It was an ignorant injury on my behalf. We attempted a move that we’ve never done before, and it didn’t pay off, clearly.”
“I literally [just] did a toe touch. It’s like me walking down the street and I roll my ankle,” Normani said.
