Shaun White Wins Gold for Men's Halfpipe at Winter Olympics!
Shaun White has added another gold medal win to his resume!
The 31-year-old snowboarder took home the top prize in the Men’s Halfpipe final during the 2018 Winter Olympics on Wednesday (February 14) at Phoenix Snow Park in Pyeongchang-gun, South Korea.
Shaun scored a 94.25 in his first run and a 55.00 in his second run. This would have placed him in the silver medal position, but he scored a 97.75 on his third run to take home on the gold!
Japan’s Ayumu Hirano won silver with a high score of 95.25 and Australia’s Scotty James won bronze with a high score of 92.00.
Shaun‘s longtime girlfriend Sarah Barthel was in the crowd to cheer him on!
