Katy Perry Talks 'American Idol' & Explains The Term Wig on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'!

Katy Perry is decked out in animal print while making an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday evening (March 5) in Los Angeles.

The 33-year-old actress talked about the 2018 Oscars, Jimmy‘s opening monologue, the return of American Idol and explains what “wig” means after debuting a clip from the new season.

“It’s a language that sometimes the kids and I speak, it’s a little bit internet language,” Katy told Jimmy. “But basically when somebody sings really well, and they SING, you know, they sing so well that the wig flies off.”

“Sometimes the glue isn’t strong enough to hold the vibrations and the wig flies all across the room. That’s when you know you can really sing,” Katy added – Watch below!
