Are The Weeknd's 'Wasted Times' Lyrics Reminiscing About Past Relationship with Bella Hadid? Stream Here!

Now that The Weeknd‘s new album My Dear Melancholy, has dropped fans are starting to piece together the lyrics to figure out which famous ex each song is about!

In the song “Wasted Times,” fans have noticed one major lyric that pretty much infers that the 28-year-old entertainer is singing about missing ex Bella Hadid.

“You were equestrian, so ride it like a champion,” The Weeknd sings, and if you remember, the 21-year-old model used to ride horses and competed in tournaments while growing up in Malibu.

Earlier in the song, The Weeknd sings about “Wasted times I spent with someone else” – which fans believe is about his most recent ex Selena Gomez.

After The Weeknd and Selena split, he was rumored to be hanging out with Bella again – and it looks like he mentioned that again in the song.

“But you’ve been with me from the beginnin’ (ooh, yeah, yeah) / And I know right now that we’re not talkin’ (not talkin’),” The Weeknd sings.
