NBC Announces 'Hair' as Next Live Musical for Spring 2019!

NBC has announced that a live production of Hair will air on the network in Spring 2019!

The show will be produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, who have produced all of the networks live musicals since The Sound of Music.

The show was most recently produced on Broadway in 2009 with a cast led by future Tony winner Gavin Creel and Will Swenson.

Hair “follows a group of hopeful, free-spirited young people who advocate a lifestyle of pacifism and free-love in a society riddled with intolerance and brutality during the Vietnam War.” Get the music from the most recent Broadway revival on Amazon or iTunes!

NBC still has not yet announced an air date for the planned production of Bye Bye Birdie starring Jennifer Lopez.
