Janet Jackson Pays Tribute to Her Late Father After His Funeral

Janet Jackson is paying tribute to her late father Joe Jackson following his death.

The patriarch of the Jackson family was laid to rest during a private funeral on Tuesday (July 3), which Janet attended.

Janet took to Instagram after the funeral to share a childhood photo of her with her dad. She captioned the pic with a purple heart emoji. This is the first time that she has spoken out publicly about her father’s death.

Joe was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Calif. alongside his late son Michael Jackson.
