Joaquin Phoenix's Joker Set Photos Seemingly Show a Big Plot Point

Joaquin Phoenix, in costume and makeup as The Joker, seems to laugh maniacally as he sits in the back of a police car while filming for the new movie on Monday evening (October 15) in Newark, New Jersey. It looks like The Joker gets captured and arrested by the police!

The plot hasn’t been released, but it appears to be an origin story of sorts as we’ve seen photos of Joaquin on set looking like he’s just a regular clown.
